Is the jewelry handmade?
Yes, each piece is made by hand.

I'd like to order, but I don't have a PayPal account.
When ordering online, Paypal will walk you through opening an account if you do not have one already. It's free and secure. PayPal accepts credit or debit cards and can even withdraw your bank account.

I just placed an order, when will I get it?
All orders typically ship within 1-2 weeks.

How do you ship?
US First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, and usually at no additional charge, just ask.

Where are the shards found?
Generally all are found on the shores that surround Salem, MA. Some may be found in other parts of New England, like Gloucester, MA, and are noted in the jewelry listing.

These fragments are really found, right? Are any just broken china?
ALL the shards used in this collection are found in on the shore or in the water. This is evident in their wear, crazing, chips and imperfections.

How do you know what the pottery is or the age?
We are by no means experts in this area, but we refer to several books to help us identify some shards. Some great reference books we use are Kovel’s Dictionary of Marks by Ralph and Terry Kovel and Sea Glass Chronicles by C.S. Lambert.

You seem to always have new pieces, how is there so much pottery to find?
Amazing, isn’t it? When the day comes that no shards appear any longer, the collection will cease to exist.

Do you alter your findings?
Most shards are used in jewelry as found. Sometimes if a piece is too large (for earrings as an example) it will be broken down.

Do you offer custom work?
Yes! We can make a custom shard jewelry using pottery or glass you have found or with china that has broken and is perhaps sentimental. Email us at jewelry@resurrectedvestiges.com to discuss your ideas.

Can I buy your jewelry in stores?
Our Resurrected Vestiges collection is available at Pamplemousse kitchen shop at 185 Essex Street in Salem, MA.
